Brin is living a truly full circle moment. When she heard her former home studio announced it would be closing she knew she had to do something for a community that did so much for her. Not wanting to see her dance family and so many dancers have to close up shop entirely, she stepped up to see how she could help. Ultimately leading her to take on a whole new, never imagined position in the dance scene, Owner.

 

Enter, Circle City Dance Inc. Brin is beyond grateful for the support and love the families, students have shown everyone during this transition and she couldn't be more excited to see what wonderful and memorable experiences Circle City Dance brings to everyone who walks into the studio!

Dancing for nearly four decades, training, and performing in jazz, tap, ballet, modern, contemporary, and hip hop, Brin, began teaching at 17, and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Dance Performance from Ball State University in 2005. During and after which she taught at multiple studios across Central Indiana, choreographed for area high school dance teams, and judged regional and national competitions.

In 2010, Brin relocated to Los Angeles, where she has built an extensive career in commercial and theatrical dance. Training with Galen Hooks, Janet Roston, Glyn Gray, Kelsey McCowan, and Melinda Sullivan to name a few. Some of her performance and entertainment credits include being cast in the International Pin Up Company The Satin Dollz, an animation reference dancer for Disney Junior's Vampirina, DreamWorks Dragon Rescue Riders, and Gabby's Dollhouse. She performed with BPM (a 7-piece, genre-bending music and tap dance show), Mixed eMotion Theatrix, LA Unbound, MUDA mvmt, and choreographed multiple musicals in Los Angeles, including the original world premiere of DEADLY by Vanessa Claire Stewart, as well as works by playwright and composer Michael Shaw Fisher. She also leads the annual tap program for the national award-winning show choirs at Burroughs High School in Burbank, CA.

Together with the masterful Indianapolis-based teachers and team who inspire the students and parents every day, Brin brings her passion, dedication and love for dance, along with the perspective of a working LA career. Turns out, the dream was always big enough for more than one city!
